Eyebrow Transplant Treatment and Aftercare

The majority of patients are interested in hair transplant in Chennai as a way to re-establish the growth of brow hair that has been drastically reduced due to years of plucking.

While transplants were initially developed to restore eyebrow growth in patients who had lost hair due to genetics or as a side effect of chemotherapy, they have recently gained popularity in both medical and cosmetic applications.

You may not have given much thought to keeping your brows in good condition, but if you want to preserve a smooth and youthful look, your brows are always a good indicator of your true age.

How's it going to work?

Your doctor usually uses a surgeon to attract your eyebrows so that you have a much better idea of what it will look like. Some doctors may even have software to help you preview the result.

On the day you are receiving treatment, your doctor will treat you locally to give you minimal pain. They will use your own hair follicles during the procedure (usually taken from a not apparent area – just like the back of the skirt) to grab follicles that then go into the eyerial area carefully, one-by-one.

Things to avoid in the aftercare

Two days after your hair transplant, please do not drink alcoholic beverages primarily. Blood alcohol thins and is expected to cause bleeding. Avoid alcohol intake while taking the therapy if your doctor prescribes painkillers.

We advise that you do not smoke for at least two weeks after hair transplant to ensure the survival of the transplanted hair. Do not swim for 2 weeks after your operation. For primary three to four weeks, avoid direct exposure of the sun to the transplanted area. You will also use the hat to stop the sun and confirm that you are using the sunscreen to ensure that the protection is simplest.
