A Review and Update on Scar Removal Treatment





Various scars can spread as a result of surgery, burns, wounds, and inflammatory processes. Hypertrophic, keloid, atrophic, and acne scars are the four types of scars. The scar form requires a different treatment. The advancement of lasers for the growth of all scar forms has resulted from the evolution of scar removal treatment in Chennai. The pulsed dye laser, for example, is a non-ablative laser that has been shown to be useful in the treatment of hypertrophic and erythematous scars.

Scar care has become more straightforward, and scar management has progressed significantly. On the other hand, scar treatment and management cannot be achieved with a single laser device, and a variety of laser and non-laser devices are needed to complete scar management.
